Extended and reinterpreted original concept design by John McAslan to create one of the most talked about modern houses in Hampstead.

The original 1950’s house was demolished to allow the creation of a contemporary bespoke glass house achieved with minimal site area – the driveway being owned by the adjoining property.

Oversize glass sections form triple height front elevation opening onto internal living space. Structural “walk on” glazing lights to lower circulation areas and rear bedrooms.

The glass fronted double height reception room with “monolithic” polished concrete fireplace incorporates a cantilevered gallery area. With views across London this upper mezzanine provides the ultimate home office space.
