Extensive refurbishment and traditional rear extension of a basement flat within the Pimlico Conservation Area.
Adopting a piled foundation and suspended raft slab, planning permission was granted for a traditionally detailed rear extension, to be built within the root protection zone of a large protected tree. But, after a long planning process, the client’s circumstances changed and we produced visualisations to aid the sale of the property as a development opportunity.
We are now working with the new owners of the flat moving the project forward to site.
